I’m an uprooted Friulian who now calls Barcelona “home”. I like to help people like me who have a business to successfully communicate with their Italian audience. If you could peek into my office, you would find me surrounded by notepads and glossaries, immersed in translation or proofreading. Or among the plants on my balcony, looking for inspiration for writing copy. In all cases, when it comes to my services I have one goal: to provide you with texts that hit the mark with a clear message, reflecting your spirit and staying true to your brand.
I enjoy working for freelance professionals like myself, entrepreneurs, small and large companies. I love getting to know the people behind a brand, discovering the passion behind a business. Working hand in hand with those who know how to value the immense work involved in translating or creating a text.

My mission is to offer you content that boosts your visibility, brand’s reputation, and business through professional services of translation and proofreading in German-Italian, English-Italian and Spanish-Italian as well as copywriting in Italian.
To do this, for the past 15 years I have wholly dedicated all my efforts to ensure all projects are carried out with the greatest care and accuracy. I keep myself informed on the topics of my specialisations and I train in marketing and UX Writing. I continue to train in copywriting to ensure I give brands their true voice when writing copy. I train myself by translating technical texts and more creative content, I hone my search skills for specialised terms. I use the latest versions of leading translation assistance software and Quality Assurance tools, such as SDL Trados Studio, STAR Transit NXT, Across and Xbench, to maintain terminological consistency of texts and ensure professional results.
All this translates into effective texts that allow you to achieve your goal, whether it is to inform and create trusting relationships with your customers or to empathise with your target audience and promote your business becoming an investment in your business’ future.
I come from a frontier land, where Italian, Friulian, Slovenian and German meet in a natural way: needless to say, languages have always been one of my passions. To understand this, as a hobby I can choose to take a Danish or Turkish course, just for the pleasure of discovering a new language world. This curiosity led me to study literary and technical-scientific translation at the University of Trieste and then to live for longer or shorter periods in various cities around the globe: Vienna, Berlin, Leeds, Lisbon, Recife, Hamburg. It was in this beautiful Hanseatic city that I worked in a translation agency where I laid the foundations for my freelance translation business, which I launched years later in Barcelona. You can still find me here today to talk about your projects over a cup of coffee. It will be a pleasure to help you as a translator, proofreader and copywriter.
When I am not translating, I enjoy martial arts or dancing like no one’s watching in all dance styles. I also listen to rock pieces and sonatas. I indulge my traveller’s spirit by escaping the city in a van with my family, in search of beautiful scenery and a little corner of nature to have all to ourselves.
I accompany families as a doula and lactation consultant: a path that excites me and fills my heart. I like learning new things. Not only for work, but also to challenge myself and tell myself: “but who made me do it?”. Yet from each experience I draw valuable lessons for my next project.
